"How to Build a Simple Mechanical Organ (formerly How to Build a Barrel Organ) by John C. Kleinbauer. Published in 1999 by John C. Kleinbauer, Arlington, NJ. Soft cover, 63 pages with over 100 diagrams. The book measures 11 inches (28 cm) high by 8-1/2 inches (21.5 cm) wide.

Mr. Kleinbauer has revised his book and it is now called "How to Build a Simple Mechanical Organ." The organ is constructed from Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), available from most hardware stores. The organ uses harmonica reeds to produce sound. The basic design can be adapted to suit your needs or create your own design.

John Kleinbauer's "How to Build a Simple Mechanical Organ" contains over 100 detailed, computer-generated, drawings and straightforward instructions which will enable even the average hobbyist to build a barrel organ from parts that are easily available. Hobbyists and engineers alike will find this manual quite useful. Mr Kleinbauer's instructions and drawings are very clear. Sample drawings are shown above.
